5 Simple ideas to decorate your Home for Thanksgiving

Wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving! This year I am gratefully for all my current and past clients. I am especially grateful for all the client referrals and recommendations you sent my way throughout the year. I am very thankful for your business!

To prepare for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, here are 5 simple ideas to make your home feel more inviting and warm for your guest arriving.

Wreath & Door Mat– Create a welcoming entry way by adding a decorative fall theme door mat and a wreath of preserved fall leaves, berries or understated green boxwood to use year after year. Wreaths can also be hung from garden gates, sheds and mailboxes.

Candles- Choose candles of different heights and display them around the house for a cozy, festive Thanksgiving look. Not only will your home look fancy and made up, but it will surely smell great too!

Throw Pillows & Blankets – Adding a few inexpensive pillow or drape a blanket over your sofa in shades of copper, cranberry and gold will warm up the space and make the family room look more inviting.

Pumpkins-It wouldn’t be fall without  pumpkins. Create a centerpiece for on your dinging rooms table with pumpkins in different colors, sizes and textures. Get your kids involved and have them paint some leaves or turkeys on on the pumpkins.

Mantel- The fireplace mantel is a focal point of the room, so don’t forget to decorate by adding garland, pumpkins & candles. Sitting around a cozy fire with extended family is a great time for conversations and time to reflect on the things your are grateful for this Thanksgiving.
